📖 Welcome to the Digital Qaida Application (“App”), built and operated as a free educational tool by Unity Welfare Foundation, Ahmedabad, India. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, particularly children and beginners who use our platform to build a strong foundation in reading Arabic and Quranic recitation with perfect Tajweed rules.

This Privacy Policy explains how our application functions, what minimal data is stored, and how we safeguard user information. By downloading, installing, or using the Digital Qaida App, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect (or Do Not Collect)

We strongly believe in absolute privacy. Unlike typical modern commercial apps, we do not collect, harvest, upload, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII), device identifiers, or usage logs to our servers.

No User Account Required: You can access all lesson databases, educational tutorials, and materials without registering an account, providing an email, or setting up a password.
Direct Feedback Form: If you voluntarily decide to send us feedback or a support query through the in-app feedback channel, you may optionally provide a name and a phone number. This information is strictly transmitted to our support team and is never shared, sold, or used for marketing or commercial purposes.
No Advertising or Marketing Identifiers: Our application contains absolutely zero commercial advertisements, tracking cookies, or marketing analytics SDKs.

2. Local Storage and Offline Caching

To offer a seamless offline-first experience, the App utilizes local storage (such as standard device-side localStorage) to save:

Your list of lesson bookmarks (saved favorites).
Your preferred application language (English or Gujarati).
Your theme preference (Light Mode or Dark Mode).
Voluntary details you pre-fill in the feedback panel for future convenience.

This data is stored exclusively on your physical device and is never synchronized to cloud servers or accessible by third parties. Clearing the application cache or uninstalling the app will permanently reset these local preferences.

3. Third-Party Integrations and Video Playback

Our application embeds standard YouTube video tutorials to play educational lessons directly.

YouTube Integration: When you watch video lessons inside the App, the playback is streamed from YouTube. Third-party content suppliers like YouTube may collect non-personal data or use cookie identifiers. We recommend reading the Google and YouTube Privacy Policy to understand their data processing practices.
External Links: The App provides links to official representatives and donation details for Unity Welfare Foundation. Clicking these links will open your system’s default web browser or dialer application.

4. Children’s Privacy

Because the Digital Qaida App is specifically designed to help children learn Quranic Arabic and Tajweed, protecting minors’ privacy is our highest priority:

We do not solicit, compile, or request any tracking, behavioral profiling, or personal identification data from children.
The voluntary feedback form is intended for use by parents, guardians, or teachers.
We comply fully with child protection standards and Google Play Store policies regarding family and children applications.

The underlying mobile container runtime (built with Capacitor) requests the following standard system permissions:

Internet Access: Required to fetch and stream educational YouTube tutorial videos, query the dynamic video database, and display Unity Welfare Foundation donation updates.
