All preferences and reading progress are stored strictly locally on your device using your device’s local storage capabilities:

Last Read Position & Bookmarks: Saved on your device so you can resume reading where you left off.
App Preferences: Language selection, dark/light theme preferences, and page display modes.

This data never leaves your device and is erased if you clear the application data or uninstall the application.

3. Device Permissions

The app requests only minimal, non-sensitive permissions required for core functionality:

Keep Awake (android.permission.WAKE_LOCK): Prevents your screen from turning off or locking while you are reading or reciting Durood Shareef.
Storage Access: Used solely to access bundled PDF content internally within the application sandbox.

No permissions for Camera, Microphone, Precise Location, Contacts, or Device Storage files are requested or required.

4. Third-Party Services and External Links

The application operates completely offline and does not contain advertisements or integrations with third-party tracking services.
